Privacy Policy

G SMART DEVELOPER (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates gsmart.dev and publishes business software including cloud POS, restaurant QR platforms, field-service tools, and companion Android apps on Google Play. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Website & contact forms. When you submit our contact form or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and message content.

Product usage. Our SaaS platforms (for example GSmartApp, GSmart Solution, GSmart Services) may store account credentials, shop or business profile data, orders, inventory, customer records entered by merchants, and operational logs required to run the service.

Android apps. Apps published under G SMART DEVELOPER may request device permissions only when needed for app features, including:

• Camera — barcode scanning or image capture in POS / field apps.
• Location (foreground and background) — live technician tracking or delivery workflows when enabled by the merchant build.
• Notifications — order alerts or operational messages when push is enabled.
• Network access — loading the merchant web application inside the app shell.

Technical logs. Our servers may log IP address, browser or app user-agent, timestamps, and error diagnostics to maintain security and performance.

2. How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve our websites, SaaS products, and Android apps.
• Respond to sales, support, and onboarding requests.
• Send service-related messages (for example billing receipts or critical alerts).
• Comply with law, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal information to third-party advertisers.

3. Location data (Android)

When a merchant enables GPS or background location in an app build, location may be transmitted to the merchant’s own server (for example technician geo pings). Background location is used only for operational tracking features disclosed in the app. You can revoke location permission in Android Settings at any time.

4. Data sharing

We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email, payment gateways, WhatsApp / Meta messaging APIs) strictly to operate the service. Merchant-entered customer data in tenant POS systems belongs to the merchant; we process it as a service provider.

5. Retention & security

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use TLS encryption in transit and access controls on servers. No internet transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we control by contacting us. Merchant end-customers should contact the merchant first for POS or shop data.

7. Children

Our business services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
